If you have found Michal Shmuel’s paintings online, you may be wondering whether there is a print. This page answers that with what the studio itself says. It also covers the other ways to bring one of her works home: an original painting or a commission made for your wall.
Can you buy a print of Michal Shmuel’s art?
Michal Shmuel is an Israeli artist. She paints Jewish and Biblical themes, Hebrew letters, menorahs and the Land of Israel. Her works are original paintings, among them oil on canvas and oil with gold leaf on canvas.
The studio’s FAQ mentions prints in one specific case: when a painting you want is no longer available. You can then commission an original piece from Michal, or buy a museum-quality giclée print of the artwork you were drawn to. To ask about a print, contact the studio and name the painting.

Can I buy a digital file and print it on canvas myself?
No. Buying a painting gives you ownership of the physical artwork, but the copyright stays with the artist. The FAQ says buyers may not reproduce, adapt, distribute or print her art. That rules out buying a file and having it printed locally.
If you want one of her works on your wall, the options are an original painting, a museum-quality giclée print if the painting you want is no longer available (ask the studio), or a commissioned painting.

Original paintings: sizes and materials
Each artwork page lists the size and, for most works, the medium. A few examples from her collections:
| Artwork | Size | Medium |
|---|---|---|
| The Golden Letters Menorah | 100×150 cm | Oil and gold leaf on canvas |
| When Letters Become Stars | 100×120 cm | Oil on canvas |
| Song of the Sea (Shirat HaYam) | 100×120 cm | Oil and gold leaf on canvas |
| The Eternal Olive Tree | 80×60 cm | Oil on canvas |
| A Burst of Pomegranates | 70×130 cm | Oil on canvas |
| Jacob’s Ladder: A Heavenly Connection | 200×90 cm | Not listed |
Every artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity. Prices are given on request.
In The Golden Letters Menorah, the arms of the menorah are formed from the letters of Psalm 67. The Eternal Olive Tree shows an ancient olive tree, and A Burst of Pomegranates scatters the fruit across the canvas in vivid colour. Jacob’s Ladder belongs to her Biblical Stories collection.

Commission a painting in the size you need
If the painting you want is gone, or you need a particular size, Michal accepts commissions in the subjects she already paints: Jerusalem and the Kotel, trees and the Land of Israel, Hebrew letters, menorahs and Jewish life. A commissioned work can include a personal dedication in Hebrew or English.
The commission page asks for four things: the subject or story you have in mind, your wall size and the approximate painting size, your city and preferred timing, and any of her works whose colour or mood feels close to what you want. The studio discusses subject, size and timing with you before anything is agreed.
