An Ultra-orthodox (Hareidi) NeighborhoodEvery artwork comes with a COA (certificate of authenticity).
The painting is built around a composition of geometric shapes, suggesting a dense urban landscape filled with buildings that lack a clear plan. Towards the upper part of the canvas, I painted a strip of figures in various poses, some standing or moving, adding life to the scene, humorously capturing the daily story of the neighborhood or ultra-Orthodox city. Inspired by the people of Bnei Brak, the town where I grew up, the piece reflects a seemingly homogeneous city where everyone appears to follow the same routine. However, a closer look reveals the many shades of individuality and diverse lifestyles within the community.
