A Tree in the Kibbutz

The tree and its surroundings are painted using simple geometric forms, inspired by the Constructivist style. I titled this piece A Tree in the Kibbutz because, to me, it reflects the spirit of early kibbutz life in Israel. Rooted in socialist ideals of simplicity, equality, and collective living. There’s a quiet tension here: the beauty of shared purpose alongside the flattening of individual complexity. Through abstraction, I aimed to convey both the vision and the sacrifice that underlie that way of life.
