A Tree in the Neighborhood

Every artwork comes with a COA (certificate of authenticity).

Without dwelling on subtleties, without the small details, to seize the moment and convey the color’s impression and sensation to the viewer. That’s what guided me as I painted this Callistemon tree, bursting in spectacular red bloom. It wasn’t about precision. It was about translating that bold, vibrant impression straight onto the canvas.
