The Warmth of Jerusalem’s PrayerEvery artwork comes with a COA (certificate of authenticity).
In Judaism, yellow is often associated with light, warmth, and holiness, representing a connection to divine presence and spiritual enlightenment. In my painting of the Wailing Wall, I use warm hues of yellow and gold to evoke this sense of divine light and the holiness that radiates from this sacred site.
The crowd of Jewish people praying at the Kotel is surrounded by abstract patterns, symbolizing the deep connections between our people, both in the present and throughout history. Just as the Menorah in the Temple was made of pure gold, reflecting divine illumination, this painting represents the warmth and light that Jerusalem brings to our hearts, a place where the past, present, and future of the Jewish people are eternally intertwined.
